Summary

A soft and conforming low adherent hydrophilic foam dressing with an aesthetically pleasing semi-permeable film backing and key-hole fenestration to allow ease of placing around a tube, cannula or peg site.

All the benefits of Advazorb Plus but with the added extra of a fenestration, allowing easy fitting around tracheostomy tube, cannula or peg site.

Advazorb Plus (T) has high fluid absorbency and retention characteristics with a cushioning effect.

How to Use

[how to use]

Apply with care, pink film side up and white side next to skin. Open the key-hole and gently place the dressing around the tube, rod or cannula. Training may be required to avoid potential trauma, if in doubt seek professional medical advice from doctor or qualified medical practitioner.

[frequency of change]

Advazorb Plus (T) can be left in place for up to 7 days but should be changed immediately if soiled or damp form secretions or exudate.

 

 

[indications]

Advzorb Plus (T) is for managing exudate and secretions and improving comfort for patients with a tracheostomy tube, cannula or peg sites.

[contra-indications]

Do not use Advazorb Plus (T) with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide as these can break down the absorbent component of the dressing.
