Summary

A pink film backed, conformable, low-adherent, * hydrophilic, polyurethane foam wound dressing.

Advazorb Plus has high fluid absorbency and retention characteristics. It is designed to be a flexible and effective dressing suitable for a wide number of applications. It is also designed to effectively manage moderate exudate levels and maintain a moist wound healing environment.

How to Use

[how to use]

Apply directly to the wound surface, pink film side up and secure in place with tape, appropriate bandage or film dressing.

[frequency of change]

Can be left in place for up to 3 days but should be changed immediately if strike through is apparent or when dressing reaches capacity.

If exudate is visible around the edges of the dressing this is a clear indication that a dressing change is required.

Clinical observation is necessary to determine required frequency of change in highly exuding wounds.

 

 

[indications]

  • Moderate to Heavy exudating wounds:
  • Granulating wounds
  • Leg ulcers
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Protection of bony prominences
  • Diabetic foot
  • Surgical wounds

[contra-indications]

Do not use on arterial bleeds, sinus or  cavity wounds
